Crooked Creek Farm is excited to announce the completion of its new organic composting system, thanks to the generous support of the C.Herbert and Anna E. Lutz Foundation.
This new system will allow the farm to turn organic waste into nutrient-rich compost that can be reused in gardens, landscaping, and agricultural spaces. The project is part of Crooked Creek Farm’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and caring for the land alongside the animals and people who enjoy the farm each day.
The farm is especially excited about the opportunity to share compost with the community and continue finding ways to give back beyond the barn.
Crooked Creek Farm offers horsemanship education, riding programs, and hands-on farm experiences that help riders and visitors build confidence, responsibility, and a connection to the outdoors.
