On March 4, four Crooked Creek Farm riders along with Iris, Fergie, and Sage traveled to the Carolina Schooling Series Show in Tryon, NC. All the riders rode well and the horses were happy to be out and about! Below are highlights from the show for each rider and horse pair!
Peyton Wilson kept Sage at a controlled trot during her flat classes. This was Peyton and Sage’s first show together and the pair did wonderfully, ending with a blue ribbon. Keep up the hard work Peyton and Sage!
Abbie Bailes showed great confidence in her and her horse’s ability at the show. She kept Iris consistent and controlled, using her corners wisely and seat well! Keep riding Abbie!
Brisen Gainey rode Fergie in the show. She kept Fergie consistent and worked on flexion in the corners of the arena and on course. They ended the day with several high placing ribbons! Go Brisen and Fergie!
Ella Sexton and Fergie had several beautiful transitions and trots during their classes. The pair worked hard to develop teamwork approaching the show and it paid off! Ella and Fergie ended the day with Reserve Champion in the Walk/Trot Crossrails! Keep riding Ella!
A big “Thank You!” to everyone who gave up their Saturday to support the riders at the show!
