Gratitude Week at the Barn

2 Corinthians 9:11 – “You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.”

During the week of November 2- November 8, we are celebrating everything we are grateful for at the barn. There are so many things – health and happiness of the horses, new facilities, staff that make our barn function and the riders that come each week to learn on and care for their horses. Grateful is an understatement.

Throughout this week, every lesson will begin with our riders reflecting on: “What you are grateful for this week.” Lessons will end with the question: “What are you thankful your horse taught you today?” It’s a simple practice, but it reminds us to notice the blessings in our everyday barn life.

Our social media will also be filled with gratitude posts, sharing moments of thankfulness and the joy our horses and barn community bring to our lives.

We will conclude our week with a Celebration of Gratitude on Saturday, November 8th from 9:00–11:00am. The morning will include:

  • A short devotion on gratitude
  • Donuts and coffee
  • A chance to ride our horses through a fun obstacle course

We invite all riders, families, and barn friends to join us! Please [sign up here] to participate in the celebration.
