Horse Showing with Crooked Creek
Anytime Crooked Creek Farm riders or horses perform in public, they are expected to look and act their best. Riders wear long-sleeved show shirts (and sometimes jackets), tan jodhpurs, and polished boots with their hair neatly under their helmet and horses are cleaned and trimmed as if they were showing in the Olympics! We do compete in the same classes, but all of us are on the same team and support one another in every way possible! More advanced riders help beginner riders mount and know their course or have a plan before entering the arena. Riders who are not showing help wipe boots and sweat marks. Doing the above we create a strong bond between riders and instill performance values that last a life time!
In-House Horse Shows
In-House Horse Shows are an affordable way for riders to show in classes tailored for their skill set. We design the class list to specifically accommodate each rider who would like to participate. Riders are responsible for a trainer’s fee, class fees, and participating in the “ready the barn for the horse show” day.
Off Site Horse Shows
Off Site Horse Shows consist of riders and horses traveling to local horse shows. Riders who participate in off site horse shows are responsible for trailer fees, leasing their horse for the day, trainer’s fee and travel, class registration fees, and boarding fees. Riders are responsible for pulling their horses mane, bathing their horse, and packing their tack and horse’s supplies before the show, if they do not additional fees may be added.
